Seven (7) Slate Belt municipalities are working together to revise our zoning ordinances and maps (including Bangor, East Bangor, Pen Argyl, Portland, Roseto and Wind Gap Boroughs, and Washington Township.)
Zoning defines how you can use your property. It can be used to appropriately manage population growth, new construction, and retail and industrial development by implementing land use rules to support your community’s vision for the future.
We would like your input on how we can change the zoning ordinance to improve the quality of life for residents. Topics may include off-street parking requirements, short-term rentals, retail uses, redevelopment opportunities, and others.
Please join us for a conversation about the zoning ordinance and map on Tuesday, April 28 at 7:00 PM in Borough Hall, 11 N Robinson Avenue, Pen Argyl. If you have any questions, please contact our consultant at scalluori@hailstoneeconomic.com.
