Borough Newsletter- The Borough Newsletter is published each month following the Borough Council Meeting. It can be found on our website at www.penargylborough.com and you can receive the newsletter online by going to our website and requesting it. While on the web site make sure you like us on Facebook!

Garbage/Recycling – Garbage collection is every Friday. Recycling will be on April 22nd, as well as

May 6th & 20th. Garbage/recycling containers are to be placed on the resident’s property at the curb line and are not to be placed before 2 P.M. on the day before pickup.

Stormwater Reminder - Washing vehicles on your property can easily send detergents and other contaminants into a storm drain. Make sure to wash your vehicle near a lawn or grassy area so the water infiltrates into the ground, rather than running down the pavement into a storm drain. If there is no grassy area nearby, consider using a commercial car wash that treats or recycles its wastewater. Use mild detergents and never clean or pressure wash the undercarriage of a car at home.  The oil, grease and other pollutants from this activity can contaminate shallow groundwater. Always use a hose nozzle with a trigger and shut it off when you’re not using it to conserve water.

Blue Mountain Community Library- Book Donations accepted, call Library for more information.  4/4-4/30- Silent Auction, items displayed at library. 4/18-5/19- Mr. Pastie fund raiser, purchase tickets at library.  The public is invited to the next board meeting, scheduled for 4/19 at 6:30 P.M.
